The Japanese denim brand EDWIN asked me to create a mix for their Music Channel. When EDWIN approached me, two ideas came to mind immediately. Firstly, I wanted to include spoken word segments to give context to the mix. Secondly, I aimed for the entire mix to have the feel of a tape you would record for friends or your secret crush – music that moves you, shared to express a connection.
